
Carolyn Foster
Director of Companions Retreats
Carolyn Foster is a coach and consultant working primarily with clergy and congregations across the country. She has been leading contemplative retreats for more than 25 years and loves to sink into silence with others. Carolyn has taught writing, psychology, and leadership development for 30 years, most recently at Stanford Continuing Studies and the Graduate Theological Union. She lives in Alameda, CA with her partner and enjoys good times with her two adult daughters and five grandchildren. Carolyn has been the Director of Companions since September 2012 and is honored to lead the retreat organization she first knew as a participant.
